"The road to enlightenment is long and difficult, and you should try not to forget snacks and magazines.”
—Anne Lamott
Thanks for stopping by my brand-new website. I wanted a home base on the Internet, where I could showcase my work and post things that might otherwise end up jotted in some notebook somewhere and forgotten. For now, I’ll write a huge thank you to my sweet and very talented (and patient) friend Holly for creating this space for me—thank you, Holly!
I would never call myself a “real” photographer, but I do like to look for moments of awe and try to capture them. Here, I will post some of my more successful attempts. These moments always, always happen in nature. Sometimes I have to remind myself that nature doesn’t have to mean six-hour hikes or backcountry skiing. It also includes city parks (including the one pictured here, which is near my house and is the largest park in Denver and such a treasure), my neighborhood, my backyard, even watching snow fall out the window.
The quote above is from another treasure. I’ve never met her but she feels like a friend; at the very least, we are on the same wavelength when it comes to life’s priorities.
